The Retro Flower Car Charm Crochet Pattern
It’s currently mid summer and hotter than hell but at least it makes for some good pattern design inspiration, lol. Introducing the Retro Flower Car Charm crochet pattern! The adorable car charm version of the Retro Flower Wall Hanging that I designed last year.

Check out the Retro Flower Wall Hanging here!
Car charms are such a simple and easy way to accessorize your car. And how fun would it be to be able to make one yourself! This pattern works with on 2 colors so it is great for those who are new to color changing. The charm is worked up with fine weight yarn so it may need some getting used to if you normally work with thicker yarn.
Happy Crocheting!

- Fasten off after Row 23 leaving a 2 foot tail.
Attaching the Fringe
- To create the fringe cut 10 inch pieces of yarn in your color choice. For this car charm I used Color A for the fringe.
To attach the fringe, grab 3 strands of yarn. With a crochet hook, push the hook through the far left foundation chain. Fold the 3 strands of yarn in half, looping the middle of the strands onto the crochet hook.

Fold the strands through the loop.

Tighten to create the fringe.

Repeat for every other foundation chain.
Hanging the Project
To attach the project to a dowel rod; using a yarn needle, weave the tail over the dowel and back under into the 1st stitch on the top of the car charm.

Repeat for each stitch on the top of the car charm.
Knot off and weave in your ends.

To hang the project, drill 2 small holes on either side of the dowel. Thread through both holes with cotton yarn and knot off both ends. Trim the excess yarn. (Feel free to use your preferred method of hanging the project)
ENJOY!
