The Autumn Plaid Beanie Crochet Pattern
Hey Everyone!
I’m back with another free crochet pattern. Continuing on with the plaid theme, the Autumn Plaid Beanie is next up on the list! I don’t think I can even put into words how much I am OBSESSED with plaid. More than half of the items in my closet are plaid (no joke!). Thankfully they are all different patterns and colors, but still plaid nonetheless.
My last plaid pattern was for the Autumn Plaid Scarf so naturally I had to make it a matching set by including my Autumn Plaid Beanie pattern. I had written the pattern for the beanie years ago but decided to update the pattern and make it available for free on my blog after writing the pattern for the scarf. I am so excited to finally be adding this pattern to the blog and hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Feel free to get as creative as you want with the color combinations. The possibilities are endless!
Happy Crocheting!

Materials
*5.00 mm Crochet Hook and 5.50mm Crochet Hook
Weight 4 Worsted Weight Yarn (yarn I used listed below)
Faux Fur Pom Pom (optional)
Hair Tie (optional)
Yarn Choice
For most of my wearable items I prefer to use a softer worsted weight yarn or a yarn that responds well to a steamer. I tend to steam most of my items to make them more soft and pliable and I have found that there are some brands, such as Caron Simply Soft or a yarn that has a higher wool content, that don’t respond well to steaming. For that reason I tend to use Loops & Threads Impeccable or Caron One Pound. I have also found that the Big Twist brand works really well.
