The Mini Diamond Bobble Wall Hanging Crochet Pattern
I am so excited to share this pattern with you guys because I have had this idea for over a year! When I published the full size version of the Diamond Bobble Wall Hanging in my Etsy shop last year I knew I wanted to create a mini version of the wall hanging to offer for free on a blog. I just didn’t have the blog yet. A year later and I am finally able to share this pattern with everyone and I hope you love it as much as I do.

Materials
Weight 4 Worsted Weight Yarn
Dowel Rod or Wooden Branch
Yarn Choice
For most of my wall hanging patterns I prefer to use a thicker and tighter spun worsted weight yarn. I feel like it gives a lot more definition to the piece and details tend to stand out more. I really don’t focus too much on the texture of the yarn because I steam every single one of my wall hangings, which softens the piece and makes it more flexible and flowy. This is especially helpful for tighter crocheters. The brands I tend to gravitate the most towards are Red Heart Super Saver and Loops & Threads Impeccable. If you would like to use a similar yarn that I did click here!

Attaching the Fringe
- To create the fringe, cut 10 inch pieces of yarn in the color you used for the project. You will need 3 strands of yarn to complete 1 fringe.
To attach the fringe, grab 3 strands of yarn. Use a crochet hook to push through the far left foundation chain. Fold 3 strands in half and loop the middle of the strands onto the crochet hook and pull the loop of strands through the chain about 2 inches.
Fold the ends of the strands through the loop.
Tighten to create the fringe.
Repeat for every other foundation chain. Trim the fringe to your preferred length.
Hanging the Project
To attach the project to a dowel rod or wooden branch, using a yarn needle weave the tail over the dowel and back under into the 1st st on the top the wall hanging.
Repeat for each stitch on the top of the wall hanging. Knot off and weave in your ends.
To hang the project, drill 2 small holes on either side of the piece. Thread through both holes with yarn and knot off both ends. Trim the excess yarn. (feel free to use your preferred method of hanging the project)
Enjoy!

Can I just say I LOVE THIS!! Your patterns are so cute and I want to make them all. I was wondering when I make this, is it ok to sell this item? I know you can’t sell the pattern. Thanks so much and keep these patterns coming😁
Amanda
Hey Kris!
Thank you so much! It is absolutely okay to sell the finished items from the pattern as long as I’m credit as the designer of the pattern! You can definitely expect more fun patterns from me very soon.

Hi! What length dowel did you use? Would a 12″ be too long? 🙂
Thanks!
Karlee
Amanda
Hey Karlee! I just buy full length dowels and trim them to size. I cut mine to roughly 8 inches for the Mini Diamond Bobble!

Hi, just wondering do you have this pattern written out to make this wall hanging in a bigger size? Would you have instructions row by row as to what to do to make a bigger one say double in size?
Amanda
Hi Laurie! I have a Diamond Bobble Wall Hanging available in my Etsy Shop. There should be a link to the pattern within the blog post!
